Big Rock Basketball Club Offers the following Teams (2026)

Sand
Our Sand Team is our basic introductory level. Comprised of Select Grade 6/7 players with limited experience but lots of grit and a passion to learn.
Pebbles
The Pebbles are our elite young players. Grade 6/7 players with experience that are ready to dedicate time and energy into being great. These teams play at the U13 level
Stones
The Stones are our U15B team. Players in Grade 8 and 9 who have experience and are ready to get better. These players differ from the Rocks (U15A) in experience and skill level.
Rocks
Rocks are our U15A team. Grade 8 and 9 players who excel at basketball with skill, experience and athleticism.
Boulders
The Boulders (not offered in 2024) are our High School Team. Combined Grades 10, 11 and sometimes Grade 12 players the Boulders represent our top level. These players have decided to be great at basketball and have put extra time into being their best.

- Sand/Pebbles Tryouts: Our Grade 6/7 teams tryouts
- Wednesday January 28 at Okotoks Jr High from 7:00-8:30
- if needed Thursday February 6th at Red Deer Lake School from 7:00-8:30
- Stones/Rocks Tryouts
- Wednesday January 21st at Okotoks Jr High from 7:00-8:30
- if needed Thursday January 29th at Red Deer Lake School from 7:00-8:30
- Boulders Tryouts
- Boulder Tryouts are by invitation this year. Please contact us for more information.
